Alleppey Turmeric

About: Alleppey Turmeric is produced in Kerala, India and takes its name from the beautiful, waterway-laced Alleppey district near Cochin, where much of this turmeric is traded. This turmeric is darker in color with a Curcumin level of 6.5% & is more pungent in flavor than the Madras Turmeric.

Taste and Aroma: Robust, bitter flavor very close to the Turmeric root.

Uses: Indian curries, sauces, eggs, dressings, mustard & pastes.
